It starts out slow and then it goes faster
There are scary sudden drops
There are fun loopdey-loops
It goes high
It goes low
Violent turns when you don't expect them
When it ends, you have to get off and go on another adventure
My life is a roller coaster
The Wondrous Life of Niccolo Machiavelli
Niccolo di Bernardo dei Machiavelli (May 3, 1469 – June 21, 1527) was an Italian historian, politician, diplomat, philosopher, humanist, and writer based in Florence during the Renaissance. He was for many years an official in the Florentine Republic, with responsibilities in diplomatic and military affairs. He was a founder of modern political science, and more specifically political ethics. He also wrote comedies, carnival songs, and poetry. His personal correspondence is renowned in the Italian language. He was Secretary to the Second Chancery of the Republic of Florence from 1498 to 1512, when the Medici were out of power. He wrote his masterpiece,The Prince, after the Medici had recovered power and he no longer held a position of responsibility in Florence.
Machiavelli was born in Florence, Italy, the first son and third child of attorney Bernardo di Niccolo Machiavelli and his wife Bartolomea di Stefano Nelli. The Machiavelli family are believed to be descended from the old marquesses of Tuscany and to have produced thirteen Florentine Gonfalonieres of Justice, one of the offices of a group of nine citizens selected by drawing lots every two months, who formed the government, or Signora. Machiavelli, like many people of Florence, was however not a full citizen of Florence, due to the nature of Florentine citizenship in that time, even under the republican regime.
There were a lot of roller coaster poems. 3 for the poem. Your Machiavelli paper is a 4. Good work. Mr. Chester
Chinese Poem
Class is in session.
The samurai apprentices get there training gear.
The instructor makes a confession,
"The samurai tryouts are near."
The samurai whisper among each other.
"Silence!" cried the instructor's assistant.
They began to quiet down one after another.
"Remember to keep your moves and balance consistent",
the instructor said,
"Do not attack without a cause,
now get back to work or the emperor will have your head!"
They started scrambling around to train without taking a pause.

I like your poem, but there were no samurai in China. Mr. Chester
A German Dornier Do 17 Z2 bomber airplane used in World War II was found off the coast of Kent, England in the English Channel.
Two out of the four crew members were killed on impact, the other two survived, becoming POW s, or prisoners of war.
The aircraft was first found in 2008 when a group of divers spotted the wreckage on a chalk bed at the bottom of the channel.
It crashed landed 70 years ago, on August 26, 1940 during the Battle of Britain. It is the only intact example of its kind in the world.
It was in 50 feet of water on the Goodwin Sands.
